How to handle life threats

Image
How do you handle situations that pose a threat to you personally or your interest? Many times in life, we tend to overlook the little things that threaten our interest. When it becomes difficult to trace a problem, then finding a solution becomes impossible. In other words, if we do not understand the agenda of the enemy, we may continue to relax and end up not taking actions. For a long time now the devil has been roaming about looking for whom to devour. He keeps fighting in marriages, businesses, careers, etc. He tries so hard to steal away the salvation of as many believers as possible because he knows his time is very short. Whether we like it or not, the devil is not stopping until he has accomplished what he wants (which is destruction -John 10:10).  We must be sensitive enough to know at what point in our lives where the enemy (devil) is fighting against us. Instead of pushing the blame on that colleague in the office, or pushing it on your husband/wife, who didn't ...

DIARY OF A LAW STUDENT. Episode 2

Image
The time was 9 am on a Tuesday morning and the students were seated ready to take their first lecture for the day. Some people were reading, some chatting and some others were taking selfies. Fifteen minutes later, as the lecturer walked in, some students that were loitering began to hurry into the class. Those that were not fast enough ended up outside and they missed the lecture.  "Good day class," said Mr Ejele "Good day sir"  the students responded. "But before then, (he continues) course rep, circulate the attendance. All of you outside please can you leave the corridor. I don't want to see you near the class. And those of you that think that you can just manipulate your name into the attendance list, I'm sorry for you because I'll fish you out." As Emilia raised her hand to respond to t...

Diary of a Law student. Episode 1

Image
It was time for the final paper of the semester. Students were everywhere revising and muttering words to themselves. Some were sitting while some were standing and others were pacing back and forth with their books in their hands trying to cram some cases and sections of the contract law because they knew fully well how their contract lecturer loved cases. She would always shout "I love cases! I love cases and you must answer each question and support your opinion with cases!" As soon as the examiner entered the auditorium, she said "put away everything that will incriminate you. And you better don't allow me to catch you cheating." Some people began to mumble as they put their books away to begin the exam. As some other invigilators began to distribute the question papers and answer sheets, they told everyone not to start yet. Immediately they finished, they asked everyone to begin. "You started by 9 am sharp and you all are stopping by 12 noon sh...

What is your greatest fear?

Image
What are your fears? Have you ever imagined something and immediately thought to yourself saying"if this mistakenly happens, then I'm finished for life" or "I don't think I can ever stand experiencing this". Do you want to find out how to handle your fears? Then keep reading. But shortly before I continue I have some experiences to share. My greatest fear has been failing, no matter the type. I came to a point where I failed in a particular area in life and it tore me apart, it was later that I discovered that it was because I handled it wrongly. At a point, it felt like the world was on my shoulders, other times it felt like I was suffocating. Such a challenge came with so much pain that was so deep and it felt like I couldn't take it anymore. I've also been in a state where I thought everything had fallen apart and I was almost condemning myself for failing again, but on second thought, I beat my chest and said "never! This isn...
