How to handle life threats
How do you handle situations that pose a threat to you personally or your interest?
Many times in life, we tend to overlook the little things that threaten our interest. When it becomes difficult to trace a problem, then finding a solution becomes impossible. In other words, if we do not understand the agenda of the enemy, we may continue to relax and end up not taking actions. For a long time now the devil has been roaming about looking for whom to devour. He keeps fighting in marriages, businesses, careers, etc. He tries so hard to steal away the salvation of as many believers as possible because he knows his time is very short. Whether we like it or not, the devil is not stopping until he has accomplished what he wants (which is destruction -John 10:10).
We must be sensitive enough to know at what point in our lives where the enemy (devil) is fighting against us. Instead of pushing the blame on that colleague in the office, or pushing it on your husband/wife, who didn't meet your expectations, or even pushing the blame on that lecturer that you strongly believe failed you on purpose; we must be sensitive to pinpoint the activities of the devil and know when he is at work so that we can address it immediately with the word of God.
The greatest war we face is the war of the mind. The devil keeps waging war in our minds and that is the main reason why we must be sensitive to counter whatever negative thought he brings in with the word of God. For instance, when you get offended by your parent or sibling by a particular act, you discover that instantly a lot of negative thoughts begins to flood into your mind and if care is not taken, you may think your way into sadness or even anger and It may lead to a regrettable act. Joyce Meyer, in one of her best selling books titled "Battlefield Of The Mind", explained how possible it is to block out negative thoughts that come into the mind and also choose the right thoughts.
The scriptures have made us understand in John 10 vs 10 that "the devil came to steal, kill and destroy but God has come to give us life and life in abundance". Meaning that we can only have life through Christ and it is only through him that we have victory.
The word of God is the surest weapon anyone can use to win the war the enemy is waging in our hearts. The scripture also says in Ephesians 6.12 "we don't wrestle against flesh and blood but against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places". This is to let us know that the challenges we face on a daily basis are more spiritual than physical. So the earlier we shift our mind to fighting back spiritually and arming ourselves with the word of God, the better. Therefore let the word of Christ dwell in you richly (Colossians 3:16).
We can only handle life threats such as sicknesses, broken homes, untimely deaths, etc by speaking the word of God. We must speak the word concerning situations in all spheres of life.
As humans, we are faced with a lot of trials. Regardless, all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose(Romans 8:28).

This is a very nice piece... Kudos dear
