Communication skills

I have wondered why it is so easy to judge people by their inability to meet an unknown expectation. A person might be trying so hard to put a smile on another's face but a singular act that dipicts otherwise becomes a bone of contention.
It takes a great level of maturity to know that someone has missed it somewhere and then let that person be aware of it in an appropriate way.
Once an expectation is not met by another, it becomes aggravating. There's a great tendency that someone expects the other to do something but at the same time that other person is oblivious of the fact that there's something he is expected to do. At this point, it is only proper communication that will pull you two through. When an expectation is not communicated to the other party, it creates a bit of tension between the two, more especially when such expectation is not met.
If you need something to be done, why not just say it. Well, in the same vein, communicating your thought to another person also requires a level of reasonability as well as respect.
You expect a call from a friend of yours and the call doesn't come through. Do you jump into conclusion or what. In most cases, the call takes longer time before it finally comes through and the next thing you hear is " you have forgotten me na". Please this thing must stop. If the person forgot you,  that call will not even come at all.  Communication is a two-way traffic. If someone forgets to reach out to you for a long period, make the effort and reach out to the person, perhaps he is facing the same challenge with you.
Can your conversation be enjoyed each time you speak? Or would it be treated as a time waster. Be quick to listen and slow to speak. Understand the time to be quiet in a conversation and understand the manner of tone to use at every point in time. When you talk responsibly to people, you will be treated same as well. If you are able to pass an information properly to someone, there will be little or no room for misunderstanding.
Our response to circumstances really matter. Communication skill is very important in this generation.
