Walking the path by submission
Everyone has a path properly designed by God to follow. On a regular, God reveals this path to us so that we will have an idea of what he really wants us to do or where he wants us to be.
When you are bothered about going where others are going or doing what others are doing, you will definitely miss your own spectacular path. Are you aware that not everyone will go through the same path.
But if you are concerned and truly engrossed in knowing the exact thing your father in heaven wants you to do or achieve; you will not struggle at all and at the same time, you will not be moved by any discouragement what so ever rather you will move with your head high because all that matters is the superior word. (Given by God). As a child all I always wanted was to do things the right way. I hated being scolded. I didn't like it when they said I didn't failed. This made me to always do what I had to do as soon as I could. In primary school days, as soon as I reached home, I would quickly wash my uniform, do my homework before I do any other thing. This was because I knew the repercussions if I didn't and I was not ready to be embarrassed nor flogged. Even when I was ignorant of somethings, I still felt I was doing everything rightly.
Knowing your path is very important because it makes life alot easier for you when you do.
Is there anyone out here that loves to make mistakes? Well I doubt that! Everyone wants to be doing it right. But all the same are we all doing it right? You answer that.
It does not end on desiring to do things right but submitting oneself to be able do it right. Submission is key. When you try it your way and it does not work out do you get angry and change route or do you ask questions on how to get back on track. I remember back then when I was preparing for Waec, my maths tutor would give me a problem to solve and after making so many attempts without getting the right answer, I'd feel very discouraged to the point I almost cried that I was never going to get it. He encouraged me that I should keep trying that I would get it. That encouragement made me to determine that I was going to get it until I finally did. I got a very different and clearer understanding on how to adress such problem. (Thanks to Mr.Faraday).
Prior to that, I was of the view that since I was not a science student, I wasn't supposed to know maths. But that was a very wrong belief. In essence, when you submit to someone who knows better than you in a particular area and determine to learn, you will go very far. How much more when you submit to God, your creator who knows your strength and weaknesses; your next step; even your next breath and your next thought.
Have you being struggling in a particular path of your life, maybe financially, marital, ministry or even health wise; are you ready to let this truck of worries off your shoulders? Here is how to do it, "submit to God". When you submit to God, it simply reflects your trust in Him. It shows that you are aware that he is able to lead you through that path. Just picture a five year old girl that wants to cross the road all by herself and another five year old that wants to cross the road with her father holding her hands. I'm sure you will agree with me that the second child will be more confident that she is safe whilst the other will only be terrified. Are you terrified that you are already missing your steps? Allow God to be the leader this time. His word says the steps of the righteous are rightly ordered by Him. ( not by you! ) you are not to order your steps but God.
Walking in the path God has mapped out for you is a continuous deliberate action. Sometimes we pray "God help me to do your will", but when he reveals his will to us in different obvious ways, we may choose to procrastinate or might not even do it. If God leads you, he will always instruct you. If you dont follow the instruction you will be stuck where you are or may even find life more complicated than it ought.
But wait! Isn't it easier to cast all the burdens on the Lord, knowing fully well that he cares for you instead of carrying the burden all by yourself. Remember guys, life is a matter of choice. I have been in a situation where I was called up to say something and how the information came to me at that moment could only be divinely orchestrated. I told myself that I would not worry on what to say at any point in time because I know God will put the right words in my mouth at the very right time.
Submission is very sweet because it will prevent you from making alot of silly mistakes. The sweet part is that even if you think you have made an irreversible mistake or you think you can never make it again, when you submit, God will reposition you.
You have a path designed by God, walk that path!

Blessed is he who finds his path early
ReplyDeleteThis presentation is the truth and nothing but the truth. Submitting to God, his will and direction is the best thing that can happen to any mortal man. We are so limited in all things that our access to our unlimited Father provides us direction and help in all situations. Not submitting to him on the other hand keeps us permanently bound in our limitations. So if we want to attain heights, then we must let the one who knows our all to hold our hands and draw us up. We must follow as he directs... that is submission.
